Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program

HSC, alongside our partners, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New York, UJA-Federation of New York, and United Neighborhood Houses, successfully advocated at the State for a $100 million infrastructure fund – the first in the State – which provided bonded capital grants for projects to improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of nonprofit human services organizations that serve New Yorkers. Funding was be distributed through a competitive application process.

When the awards were announced, HSC learned that 28 of our members were granted NICIP awards.

This is a crucial program for our sector, and we will continue to advocate for this fund to become a yearly commitment in the State budget.
