Selena Zhou (she/her) is a Communications Intern with the Human Services Council. Prior to joining HSC, Selena’s work focused on centering underserved communities through placemaking, storytelling, and education in her time with the Census Bureau and local organizations in Brooklyn. She earned her Bachelor’s in Geography and a Studio Art certificate at Mount Holyoke College. As a lifelong New Yorker and second-generation immigrant, Selena is committed to coalition building with other human service workers to secure justice for marginalized New Yorkers.
