HSC convenes a quarterly workgroup of direct service providers, umbrella organizations, government partners, and others to discuss trends in the disaster preparedness world, share resources, identify opportunities and gaps, and create a more resilient New York. Our alert system (available to all human services organizations in New York) is a free emergency communications system that was developed specifically for human services professionals and will offer disaster-related information designed to inform nonprofit management decisions about actions to take following a disaster.
