Nonprofit Disaster Resilience

Nonprofit Disaster Resilience

HSC began the disaster readiness and resilience program when nonprofit service providers were called upon to serve New Yorkers after disaster, but were not themselves ready to cope with the financial, programmatic, and infrastructure impacts.

HSC helps the human services sector with the unique challenges presented to them during the times of disaster, response, and recovery.

We encourage you to review the list of templates, tools, trainings, and more that we offer below.

Our Program

Resilience Roundup is a series of resilience guides crowdsourced from City, State, media, and partner resources. Each guide is designed to help you, your loved ones, your organizations, and/or communities you serve to prepare for, respond to, or recover from crises.
