Anita Kwok (she/her) joined the Human Services Council in September 2023 as a Social Work Policy Intern. She is a second-year Master of Social Work (MSW) student studying Community Organizing, Planning, and Development at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Prior to her role at HSC, Anita worked in various community-oriented initiatives, including reproductive health, housing, and financial empowerment.

Anita also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Peace and Justice Studies from Fordham University. As a born and raised New Yorker, her deep-rooted connection to the city fuels her passion for fostering an empowered New York City where immigrant working-class communities can thrive.
