Dr. Lilliam Barrios-Paoli has several decades of experience in New York City government and the nonprofit sector. She has headed four city agencies: the Departments of Employment, Personnel, and Housing Preservation and Development, and the Human Resources Administration; Mayor Bloomberg named her Commissioner of the Department for the Aging, and she was most recently the Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services.

Dr. Barrios-Paoli has served in the leadership roles of Safe Space NYC Inc. as well as United Way of New York City. She is currently a member of the NYC Charter Revision Committee, and serves on the Boards of Good Shepherd Services and SeedCo.
