Talia Hoch

Social Work Policy Intern

Talia Hoch joined the Human Services Council team in September 2022 as a Social Work Policy Intern. Talia is a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at Silberman School of Social work at Hunter College.

Prior to HSC Talia was interning at a State Senator’s Office as a Constituent Liason. Before starting graduate school Talia worked as a homeless outreach worker in midtown Manhattan where she connected to the unhoused population. Additionally, Talia served in the Peace Corps in the Kingdom of Tonga where she was given the opportunity to teach as well as write grants with community members for various community spearheaded projects.

Talia Graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Community and Behavioral health with a Minor in Religious Studies.
