Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program

HSC, alongside our partners, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New York, UJA-Federation of New York, and United Neighborhood Houses, successfully advocated at the State for a $100 million infrastructure fund Рthe first in the State Рwhich provided bonded capital grants for projects to improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of nonprofit human services organizations that serve New Yorkers. Funding was be distributed through a competitive application process.

When the awards were announced, HSC learned that 28 of our members were granted NICIP awards.

This is a crucial program for our sector, and we will continue to advocate for this fund to become a yearly commitment in the State budget.
